Cool Footage of Hurricane Isaac From International Space Station

On August 28, a camera on board the International Space Station captured footage of Hurricane Isaac from 253 miles above Earth. The video was taken as the powerful storm swirled towards the southeast coast of Louisiana.

Isaac made landfall on Tuesday evening, and has since been downgraded to a tropical storm.

Instagram user Chris Butler also had the chance to see Isaac from above, but a little bit closer to the ground. Butler was flying over the storm on a Delta flight and shared the incredible shot below from somewhere over Louisiana.
